First Attempt at Bruschetta

I made my first attempt at bruschetta recently.  I have not had much experience with it in my life and one of the few times I have had it was when Jamie made it a month or two ago.  She shared a slice with me and it was really good.  I made a mental note then, to make it soon.


I do not think this is a traditional bruschetta but it was extremely good either way.  I may post a recipe after I make it another time or two.  It has such a rich hearty flavor.  It goes right along with my new growing interest in bell peppers.

I have been pretty busy with work and Real Estate so the cooking has been lack luster recently.  I will get back on it and have some new things to share soon.  I also put in for another vacation in August.  I am not sure what I will end up doing but it will be nice to be off from work either way!

Bruschetta is one of my favorites and I honestly don't know if there is one single right way to make it ;) As long as there's toasted bread and something to top it, I'm happy. Especially if cheese is involved...

I always make bruschetta with leftover bread, as long as it is a good quality bread then you can put on what you like :-).
